Modern minimalist style that blends retro and natural elements
Stepping into this stunning modern home, the first thing you notice is the floor-to-ceiling rattan cabinet on one side of the entryway. The light wood cabinet features some rattan doors, inlaid with natural materials in an arched shape, and paired with gold fan-shaped handles, creating a uniquely relaxed and elegant style.
The nostalgic 80s mesh rattan element has become one of the most fashionable materials in home decoration in the past two years, allowing the home to blend the beauty of retro style with modern simplicity.
Rattan elements provide a cool and breezy feel in summer, while offering a warm and natural ambiance in winter. Rattan doors also help maintain ventilation in cabinets, reducing the dampness and odor that can develop on items stored inside for extended periods.
Moving the view to the other side of the rattan cabinet in the entryway, one can see the overall simple and stylish living and dining room design. The refrigerator and oven have a strong metallic appearance, bringing in more modern elements.

The Venetian blinds are made in a similar muddy gray to the kitchen cabinets, an elegant and tranquil low-saturation Morandi color scheme that creates a charming look for the public areas of the home.

As a pilot and a flight attendant, the two homeowners need to adjust to the time difference after working across time zones and often take naps during the day. Therefore, it goes without saying that the homeowners pay great attention to the light-blocking effect of the bedroom curtains.

The walls will have slight tolerances, which will cause the cement window frame to be not completely level. Therefore, the bottom track of the blackout roller blind will be equipped with a brush strip to cover the gaps caused by the slight tolerances at the bottom of the curtain as much as possible.
The master bedroom window has a wide horizontal beam, requiring it to be split into two roller blinds for installation. After an on-site assessment by MSBT field staff, it was confirmed that a fixed side rail could be added to the middle of the window, allowing the two blackout roller blinds installed side by side to successfully create an ultra-dark and light-blocking sleeping environment.
