MSBTfriends, please don't panic! Electric motors are usually fine and not broken! First, follow the steps in this article to rule out the following possibilities. If it still doesn't work, then you can contact customer service!

1. Is the channel selection on the electric curtain remote control correct?
MSBT offers three different MotionBlinds European imported remote controls: a pair of 1, a pair of 5, and a pair of 15, as shown in the picture from left to right below.
MSBT will customize remote controls with different numbers of channels based on each person's daily usage habits and the number of motorized curtains installed.
MSBTfriends users who use a pair of 5-channel and a pair of 15-channel remotes at home may need some time to familiarize themselves with which remote channel corresponds to which curtains.
Different channels correspond to different motorized curtains. Field staff will provide detailed explanations and demonstrations on-site. If you choose to install motorized curtains yourself, you can set the remote control channel by following the steps in the installation manual.
If you press the remote control but the motorized curtain you want to operate doesn't move, first check if the remote control is on the correct channel!
2. Does the remote control for the electric curtains have batteries?
Even though the channel is correct, the motorized curtains won't move no matter how many times you press the remote. It's very likely the remote is out of battery! The normal indicator light on the remote should look like this:
▌One-to-1 / One-to-5 Remote Controls
When you press and hold a button on the remote control, the red light on the remote will remain constantly lit. If you see the light flashing rapidly when you press a button, it means the battery is low and needs to be replaced.
▌A pair of 15 remote controls
This remote control doesn't have a red indicator light; you can see it through the screen.Text display level on the interfaceTo determine if the battery has enough power.
If the battery is low, the numbers on the interface will look strange (it will display 18 even though there are only 15 channels), and the overall text color will become lighter.The top right corner will also display a message indicating that the battery is running low..
After replacing the batteries, the remote control's interface will return to normal!
All three of the above European imported remote controls use " CR2430 button battery", can usually be purchased at 3C product stores and lock shops; hardware stores or household goods stores like Xiaobei Department Store may not have it in stock, but you can order it from the store.
The price range for a single CR2430 button battery is around NT$90 to NT$150. MSBTfriends recommends purchasing branded batteries from legitimate channels to avoid cheap batteries of unknown origin and reduce the chances of encountering power supply abnormalities or expired batteries being repackaged and resold.

3. Are the buttons on the electric curtain remote control malfunctioning: Is there any button feedback/is it stuck and doesn't spring back?
MSBT motorized blinds and all their components undergo rigorous testing before leaving the factory. After installation, MSBTfriends will conduct joint on-site testing to ensure everything is in perfect working order.

4. Under what circumstances will the malfunction occur? Will the electric curtains suddenly stop halfway through use, or will they remain unused for an extended period?
If you operate the electric curtains intensively in a short period of time, the electric motor may overheat and temporarily stop working. In this case, simply stop operating the curtains and let the motor rest and cool down for a while, and the electric curtains will resume normal operation!
If the electric curtains haven't been used for a while, the motor may be out of power and unable to open or close the curtains.
- For motors directly connected to electricity: First, confirm that the power supply to the transformer box is turned on normally (especially after a power outage, trip, or power failure).
- Lithium battery motor: First, connect the wires to charge, and make sure the green light on the motor will flash continuously while charging; after it is fully charged, the green light will turn on and remain constantly lit.

- The motor has been confirmed to be powered, but the electric curtains do not respond when operated by remote control or mobile app.

5. Are the lithium battery motors in electric curtains prone to running out of power?
Depending on the size and weight of the curtains, and individual usage habits, the lithium battery motor needs to be charged approximately every 3 to 6 months. If the lithium battery motor works normally but frequently runs out of power:

The lithium battery motor has a charging port, and the setting button can be found near the charging port (on the side where the beaded chain pull cord is located). After confirming that the motor has sufficient power, you can select:
