Step 1 一 Get the complete window measurements

Properly measuring your windows prevents problems like tracks that won’t fit, shallow frames, or curtains that don’t fully cover the glass.
Windows are often surrounded by obstructions such as walls, beams, air conditioners, pipes, furniture, and curtain boxes. When deciding on curtain sizes, please ensure that the area to be covered by the curtains is completely flat and free of any bumps or protrusions.

Step 2 — Install the curtains inside or outside the frame

The terms "inside the frame" and "outside the frame" here do not refer to the inside or outside of the metal frame of aluminum doors and windows, but rather to the cement window opening.
So never measure the size of your window glass!

Inside the frame

Features

1. Install the curtains inside the window frame on the wall, fitting them into the frame opening.
2. The appearance is relatively simple and flat, reducing thickness and body size.

Measurement within the frame

STEP 1 Measure the inner width of the frame:
Please measure the width of the curtain rod installation location.

STEP 2 Measure the height inside the frame:
Measure the left, center, and right positions respectively.

STEP 3 Measure the window frame depth and the thickness of the window frame handle protrusion:
Window frame depth - If the thickness of the window frame handle protrudes... Wide base
The curtain can be completely embedded in the wall frame.

■ Minimum size unit: 0.5cm
■ When the curtain is closed to the left or right, the thickness of the fabric pleats will block part of the window's natural light. If you wish to show the entire window, it is recommended to choose frameless installation.
■ For frame-mounted or floor-mounted installation, it is recommended to reduce the total height by 1~1.5cm to retain flexible space and avoid dragging and abrading the countertop or floor.

Outside the frame

Features

1. Install the curtains on a flat surface or ceiling outside the window frame, covering the outside of the window opening.
2. Completely cover the windows without exposing the frames, increasing the area of shading and reducing light leakage through gaps around the edges.
3. Used to conceal window size and adjust the visual effect of space.

Outside frame measurement

STEP 1 Determine the length of the curtain rod:
Measuring the inner width of the frame + Desired extra width to be covered by the curtain = Required curtain rod length (excluding valances)

STEP 2 Determine the curtain height:
Curtain rod length = Required fabric width

STEP 3 Determine the height of the curtain fabric:
Measuring height within the frame + Desired additional height covered by the curtain = Required fabric height

■ Minimum size unit: 0.5cm
■ It is recommended to add 10-15cm or more to the left and right sides of the window frame, and 20-30cm to the bottom. The actual additional coverage area depends on the space conditions or desired effect.
■ If exposed Art pole For the curtain rod design, it is recommended that the length extend approximately 10cm beyond the left and right brackets for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
■ If the curtain rod is to be fully installed within the curtain box, it is recommended to reduce the total length by 0.5 to 1 cm to allow for flexibility and avoid installation problems caused by slight workmanship deviations.
■ If it is to be installed on the floor, it is recommended to reduce the total height by 1~1.5cm to retain flexible space and avoid dragging and abrading the floor.

Things to note when deciding on curtain size

Intimate reminder

■ When deciding on curtain sizes, ensure that the area covered by the curtains is completely flat and free of any bumps or unevenness.
■ If installing inside a frame/curtain box, it is recommended to reduce the width by 0.5-1cm to allow for flexibility and avoid installation problems caused by slight workmanship deviations.
■ The curtain dimensions indicated on the shipped product are the total width and height including all system parts.
